- Create innovative financing solutions matching the company’s various financial capabilities to the needs of the nonprofit and mission-focused for-profit community throughout New Jersey
- Individually manage an active portfolio of approximately $65 million in commercial real estate and federal tax credit loans, charter school loans, affordable and supportive housing loans, disaster and pandemic recovery loans, creative placemaking loans, and small business loans, all of which are part of NJCC’s nearly $1 billion of assets under management
- Since joining NJCC, committed and deployed nearly $200 million in loan funds
- Deploy, grow, and manage a combined $16.15 million grant from the United States Department of Education including annual reporting and meeting specific performance metrics
- Increased total charter school development costs leveraged from $23 million in 2006 to over $420 million today which supports nearly 22,000 charter school seats and more than 1.9 million square feet of high-quality educational space throughout New Jersey, New York, and Washington, DC
- Assist in deploying company’s combined $250 million New Markets Tax Credit allocation
- Lead deployment effort for $53 million in CDFI Bond Guaranty funds
- Create, grow, and deploy a new loan fund around creative placemaking to enhance, promote, and connect the arts to other community revitalization efforts
- Train and develop Lending Fellows before and during their internships including curating a pre-internship reading list and providing position-specific guidance
- Act as a liaison between the company and local institutions of higher education during studio and other professional research-focused efforts
- Represent the company at local, regional, and national trade shows, workshops, conferences, and webinars, among other events
